Senior Product Manager, Etsy Seller App

What’s the role?

We are looking for an innovative Product Manager to join the Seller Platform Initiative to work on the newest app for Etsy sellers!

As a Senior Product Manager you will be a catalyst for making Etsy the best place for our sellers to grow their business and connect with their customers via the new Etsy Seller App. You’ll work on opportunities to help sellers increase their sales and deliver outstanding experiences to their buyers, alongside addressing their app experience. You will work cross functionally with engineering, design, research, marketing, and analytics to deliver exceptional products, features and experiences that empower the growth of the millions of creative businesses on our platform. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Product, Seller Platform and the base salary range will be 149,000 - 193,000 USD per year. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy. For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States who are either remote, flex, or office-based. What’s this team like at Etsy?

This squad is a key part of the Etsy Seller App teams composed of flutter engineers and works closely with design, analytics, and customer research. The product is a new and exciting app for Etsy using a new mobile app development 

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Lead a product strategy that is clearly articulated, easily understood, and delivers meaningful value to our customers and business.
• Develop the roadmap and prioritizing product features, through continuous iteration and experimentation.
• Lead a cross-functional team in crafting value for Etsy’s sellers, and often buyers.
• Through rigorous user research and analysis, you’ll explore, ideate, validate, and build products that are strategically aligned with our business goals.
• Collaborate with top-notch designers, user research experts, data analysts, engineers and data scientists to build immersive and business driving experiences.
• Own accountability for the performance of key products in our seller platform, including impact to the business and our customers.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Excited and passionate about solving small business problems, developing strategies and roadmaps, and implementing those plans to bring value to our business and customers.
• Experienced with using qualitative and quantitative data (especially from A/B tests) to make product decisions. You also know when and how to balance data with intuition.
• Inspiring, engaging and clear communication style; optimistic and forward-looking.
• Natural collaborator who knows how to drive decision-making with Engineering, Product Design, Analytics, and Research partners.
• Experience working in a marketplace or with third-party partnerships as a plus.
• A passionate member of the Etsy community and someone who believes in Etsy’s vision, mission and values.
• Bonus: Experienced in working with creative entrepreneurs or on a two-sided marketplace.
