Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

The enterprise cloud team at Atlassian is transforming how companies adopt Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, and more. Our team builds new capabilities to serve the needs of our largest customers as they adopt our SaaS offerings. We solve the compliance, administration and governance needs of thousands of enterprise customers. By unlocking their ability to rely on our products, we enable them to unleash the potential of their teams.

As a Senior Product Manager on the Enterprise team, you’ll lead the teams working on key projects enabling customers to operate Atlassian products in complex and dynamic regulatory environment in meeting their obligations to protect and preserve sensitive data. You will work hands on with every function in the company, from engineering and design to sales, legal, risk & compliance and support to develop features, take them to market, and improve them over time.

This role requires building a thorough understanding of enterprise needs for cloud software, the ability to ruthlessly prioritize them, and the technical know-how to partner closely with cross disciplinary teams to execute on the roadmap you define. You will be responsible for ensuring Atlassian cloud products are compliant and viable for customers across all shapes, sizes, and industries, with particular focus on our largest and most complex customers.

You will identify new opportunities for Atlassian, help define product strategy, own end-to-end development of your roadmap, and partner daily with teams across multiple disciplines. You will also be a subject matter expert within Atlassian on enterprise customer compliance needs. Most of all, you will impact millions of users and thousands of partners for decades to come.

In this role, you will:

  • Helping define our overall compliance strategy, bringing together technical, commercial and legal requirements
  • Driving cross-cutting initiatives in engineering and product development to meet regulatory controls
  • Working across Atlassian to bring together a cross-disciplinary team to achieve certifications
  • Working with our partners, sales, support, and customer success teams to maximize the impact of what you build

On your first day, we'll expect you have:

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Proven technical fluency to understand and deliver on enterprise requirements
  • True obsession for customers – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning, even if it means a tough conversation
  • Experience developing a high-level product strategy and roadmap that can span multiple years, communicating it to executive leadership, and rallying a cross-functional team behind it
  • A willingness to wade into the gnarly decisions to help your team get stuff done
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority across disciplines and at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build a compelling business case for new opportunities

It’s great, but not required, if you have

  • Prior experience at a B2B SaaS company, ideally with a focus on compliance and regulated industries
  • Computer science or a related technical degree
