The team
Our Product & Program Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-border group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch – all while focusing on and advocating for what’s best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

This position
DocuSign’s Agreement Cloud enables customers to digitally transform how they do business. As a Product Manager on the Act/Integrations team, you will be responsible for features that help customers integrate and orchestrate their contract management process. In this role, you will work on key new features and products that impact how customers integrate the DocuSign Agreement Cloud with their systems of record. You will work cross-functionally on the discovery, conceptualization, and launch of the platform systems and innovative product capabilities related to your areas of focus. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

As the Senior Product Manager you will develop the roadmap, vision, definition, design and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these industries. Your objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

The Senior Product Manager role has both inbound and outbound responsibilities. Inbound responsibilities consist of working with the technology team to deliver new world-class Insights / Analytics / Reporting products and applications driven by requirements from customers, prospects, advisory teams and internal product experts. Outbound responsibilities include meeting with customers, prospects (enterprise and SMB) and industry analysts to discuss product requirements and the product roadmap. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Build the strategy and roadmap for various DocuSign product offerings that provide our customers insights and analytics to help drive their business
  • Drive the vision and requirements, translate them to functional specifications, facilitate a sound design and deliver an efficient experience
  • Leverage primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of customers across their lifecycle, from awareness to renewal and expansion
  • Drive insights on the markets and segments in which these applications compete; stay abreast of industry trends, events, and channels to anticipate customer needs
  • Profile and understand high value, innovative use cases purchased and implemented by a variety of industry customers
  • Evaluate and prioritize requirements in partnership with sales, marketing, and product team leadership, leveraging industry best practices and new innovations
  • Prioritize and manage a product backlog for effective release and sprint planning
  • Facilitate requirements definition with design and engineering partners while identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
  • Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Design and GTM collaborators to ensure product ships on time and to quality

Basic qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience building/managing/shipping large-scale enterprise SaaS or eCommerce products
  • 5+ years of experience as an end-to-end Product Manager
  • Direct experience using iterative or Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Engineering, IT, Operations, Program Management, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
  • Proven ability to create functional designs, wireframes, product demonstrations and proof of concepts for new product ideas and marketing events
  • Working knowledge of modern web technology including HTML, java script and CSS
  • Real world experience with database, data tooling, and data integration
  • Statistics, Data Mining, or Data Processing experience

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytic, and communication skills and an attention to detail
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated experience as the voice of data with product and engineering team
  • Analytics product or BI tool experience
  • Experience building Security products
  • Building products that use AI/ ML / Analytics technologies
  • Extensive data visualization knowledge
  • Experience building scalable enterprise SaaS applications
