(NASDAQ: BKNG), is an industry leader with a unique insight into the world of hospitality. We champion restaurants, bars, wineries, and other venues around the world, helping them attract guests, manage capacity, improve operations and maximize revenue.

Every employee at OpenTable has a tangible impact on what we do and how we do it. You’ll also be part of a global network that includes OpenTable and KAYAK's portfolio of travel brands including Swoodoo, checkfelix, momondo, Cheapflights, Mundi and HotelsCombined.

Hospitality is all about taking care of others, and it defines our culture. You’ll work in a welcoming and inclusive environment, and get the benefits, flexibility, and support you need to succeed.

The OpenTable Product Team is dedicated to empowering restaurants to provide great dining experiences to diners around the globe. Our OpenTable consumer products are depended on by millions of diners to find and enjoy great restaurants - we create the connections between diners and restaurants.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to set the direction and roadmap for diner reservations on our fast-growing iOS and Android applications, as well as our web platform! You will lead the development of best-in-market consumer experiences for a wide range of bookable restaurant offerings — from standard reservations in the dining room, to deposit reservations for the outdoor patio, to getting on a last-minute waitlist, to pre-paid events/dining experiences. You will work directly with a development team to ship world-class features and collaborate with cross-company partners. The right candidate will combine an AB-test-driven approach with a strong design sense and product vision.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the vision and roadmap through a deep understanding of our customer business goals
  • Lead the identification of user problems, technical development, and launch of innovative products
  • Align and connect with cross-company partners and executives on critical initiatives
  • Iterate web and app experiences to increase engagement and satisfaction
  • Slice and dice data and contextualize it toward rapid growth
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
  • Partner with UX and Engineering partners on discovery and development tracks
  • Constantly assess customer needs, technology trends, and major competitors

Please apply if:

You’re high-energy and enthusiastic about working with teams and delivering great products. You’re experienced in launching successful consumer-facing products and iterating on them. You love solving complex, detail oriented problems in a way that is easy for consumers to understand. You are motivated and focused on results, working across multiple teams to align on goals and drive impact. You bring experience in product discovery, and a data and customer-centric approach that will push our product direction forward. You successfully manage trade-offs between technical debt and new features. You're eager to learn from failures - not just from successes.

You’re fun, and motivated to work on a fast-paced team and share a passion for building great products that customers love.

More about you:

  • 5+ years in a product management role and work experience
  • Exceptional collaboration skills; ability to gain the respect of your product, design, engineering, and product marketing counterparts
  • Experience negotiating with executive and cross company stakeholders
  • Delivered clear and concise communications across all levels
  • Data-centricity; a deep curiosity of metrics, the ability to identify the right metrics and track and report back on impact
  • Creativity; you will have lots of fresh ideas and be hungry to test them and see the results
  • Experience shipping and managing full stack products and solutions
  • Experience with agile processes and lean methodology
  • Understanding of user experience design principles
