Visa France has the unique capability to develop local products that enable clients to better consume Visa products and services built elsewhere globally or respond to specific market demands unmet by Visa’s standard product suite. These locally developed products provide value to clients by facilitating Visa transactions and are known as Transactional VAS (Value Added Services).

The Senior Product Manager - Digital Payments & Processing will drive the overall product management of new and existing French transactional VAS by engaging with cross-functional stakeholders across business, product, client services and technology.

What we expect of you, day to day.

Responsible for the life cycle of the product(s), your role is to develop and execute a strategy from inception to completion

• Owner of the product roadmap, you are constantly gathering and evaluating ideas from clients or partners, external conferences and events, or competitor analysis
• You'll work with the design and engineering teams to develop the product, the client services teams to deliver the product, ensuring that everyone is following the product roadmap and that features are being released on time and are of a high quality
• Work with the marketing team to effectively market the product and the sales teams to agree on priority targets
• Along the way, you'll have to complete financial analysis to model the product’s business case based on revenues, costs and margin, define and follow key KPIs to ensure product SLAs and revenues are on track
• Additionally, you will develop the legal framework including client contracts and regulatory compliance, and ensure alignment with Visa Global product tools, methodology and processes
• Finally, you will communicate your strategy to partners and stakeholders. You'll outline how you plan to achieve your objective and lay out the potential risks and opportunities. You will have to regularly meet with clients to support sales teams and understand their pain points and interests.

• Senior level work experience of 5+ years in product management as defined above in banking and/or payment environment, developed successfully at either scheme, issuer, acquirer, gateway, merchant or vendor company
• Excellent Digital payments and web/mobile/APIs technologies understanding - technical / engineering background ideally
• Financial & Commercial acumen – an understanding of the economics of the client’s business and the ways products can impact a client’s P&L, as well as the commercial drivers of Visa’s business
• Outstanding communication skills, inspiring and enthusing colleagues and users of the product.
• Demonstrated capabilities in stakeholder engagement at C level – communication, presence, and thought leadership
• Curious and inquisitive problem solver – thrives in difficult and big problem spaces
• Highly collaborative, ability to work across multiple teams in a matrix organization without direct authority
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build credibility as a peer with leaders and team members within Visa
• Advanced planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge & deep insights across the French payment industry and technical environment (domestic scheme and processing CB/Stet, bank connectivity, ...) is a plus
• French native speaker with excellent command of both written and spoken English
