Our Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to help drive the direction of analysis orchestration at Snyk enabling world-class  developer-first security products and experiences being built by Snyk and our community of customers, partners and developers.

In this role, you’ll help define and execute on the product strategy for Analysis Orchestration including working on the product strategy, KPIs and roadmap, and collaborating closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of a feature’s inception, development, release.

You’ll spend your time

  • Collaboratively support crafting and communicating a roadmap for the aspects of Snyk you own
  • Balancing long-term goals and near-term impact, and finding ways to progress both
  • Researching and understand market trends, and be able to assess market opportunities, addressable markets and be able to build business cases 
  • Conduct ongoing customer and prospective customer conversations to acquire a deep understand of their needs and pain points and identifying new opportunities from this for Snyk
  • Defining a product strategy for your area of ownership based on overall Snyk Strategy and translating this into a roadmap that exceeds market expectations
  • Executing on roadmap including writing feature requirements, working with the various stakeholders including engineering, marketing and others for successful end to end delivery and launch of capabilities
  • Work with your engineering counterpart and be able to understand sufficient level of technical details to be able to make business decisions on prioritization and positioning
  • Partnering with the User Research and User experience teams ensuring that best practices are used to develop and evolve the product

What You’ll Need

  • Have previous relevant experience working with Enterprise customers in the security space
  • Love working in a fast-paced, empowered, distributed environment that respects the team, our customers, and our partners
  • Enjoy collaborating and communicating around deeply technical topics, including modern cloud-based software services and distributed architectures
  • Have experience working on a product with a platform mindset
  • Make good product decisions in an incomplete business context of cost, value, risk, and opportunity.
  • Work collaboratively, communicate proactively, take a team-first mind-set, and skillfully give and receive difficult feedback when necessary
  • Have a proven track record with delivering SaaS products to market from business case thru to GTM and successful customer adoption
  • Be customer obsessed! Have in-depth understanding of how successful developer/user experience are defined
  • Have a keen ability to synthesize a mass of data including market research, user feedback and asks, industry standards and general trends and then translating this into experience strategy and roadmap
  • Are comfortable influencing and leading with a wide range of different internal stakeholders, from internal engineers to executives
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and enjoy helping others to learn new things
  • Comfortable within distributed work environments, collaborating across time zones and cultures and working with technical oriented teams

We’d be Lucky if You:

  • Have previous experience with developer tools, ideally including SAST tools and the SAST market
  • Experience as a product manager working in both technical and go to market roles in products
  • A passion for Snyk and the problem we’re solving
  • Desire to understand Snyk developers - their capabilities, needs, and how they work
