Senior Product Manager, Developer Experience

With no official support, thousands of user scripts and self-identified bots run against our API and enrich the experience Redditors have on our platform. The goal of the Reddit Developer Platform team is to take our user’s creative energy and transform Reddit from a content platform to an experience and content platform.

Role: 

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Developer Experience products. As the lead PM for Developer Experience, you will be responsible for defining the functionality, APIs, tools and incentives we will deliver to our developer community. Your goal will be to ignite a thriving, sustainable developer ecosystem that is continuously producing useful apps, bots and services based on your products. You will work closely with engineering, design and other product teams to ensure developers can achieve success on our platform.

Responsibilities:

• You will be the leader for Reddit’s Developer Experience product suite
• Key responsibilities include: creating the vision, building roadmaps, driving execution and delivering on outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to set a long-term strategy.
• Manage budgeting, headcount planning, and working with cross-functional partners (e.g., legal, community, PR, etc.)
• Champion the work and accelerate our evolution towards a democratized open platform anyone can build on top of.

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years of product management experience
• Hands-on software engineering experience for personal projects or prior work experience
• Strong product sense, execution, and communication skills
• Experience taking a software product from concept to launch

Preferred Qualifications:

• A long time Redditor who understands our product and users!
• Experience defining and executing strategy for developer-facing products
• At least five years of experience in a Product Manager role
