The Team You’ll Work With
Carta Connect is the data platform team bringing valuable 3rd party data into Carta. The team’s platforms today integrate with external HR Integration Systems and accounting data providers to accelerate and augment user experiences within Carta Products. Sitting within the Data Products Pillar, Carta Connect contributes to a larger vision of delivering foundational, relevant private market data to Carta’s products.
As a platform team, Carta Connect has a number of internal customers within R&D, including teams building Carta’s Cap Table, Total Compensation, 409A Valuations, and Employee products – and a range of internal partners within Delivery, Sales, and Strategy
The Problems You’ll Solve
- Define product strategy and roadmap for Carta Connect platforms to maximize value delivered to internal product teams and external customers
- Define solutions to manage the quality, consistency, and reliability of data brought in to Carta through Carta Connect
- Work closely with internal teams to define and enhance user experiences that rely on data provided by Carta Connect platforms
- Work closely with Strategy to define third-party integration strategy and manage relationships with third-party software providers
- Work cross functionally to ensure a clear, concise strategy and execution framework
About You
- You are passionate about platform. You have experience working on platform products, other software products for internal customers, and/or products that consume, manipulate, and/or produce data
- You have experience incorporating 3rd party software into user-facing products
- You’re able to drive impact in both backend architecture/system design and frontend user experiences
- You have a bias to action and the ability to ship products quickly through strategic prioritization and trade-offs
- You are able to balance uncertainty with vision, creating long-term plans while understanding when they need to change
- You have strong executive communication skills and can navigate complex discussions
- You enjoy working with a fast paced, passionate team
- You’re curious and always want to go deeper, becoming an expert in each domain you touch
