Senior Product Manager - Data Observability

Our Data Observability efforts aim to bring this same level of visibility, insights, and problem solving tools to data engineering teams, data platform teams and data consumers to reduce troubleshooting time, improve data quality, and ultimately improve trust in the data. We’re looking for a Product Manager with the passion, curiosity and drive to discover problems and drive solutions for these customers and environments.

What You’ll Do: 

• Develop a deep understanding of data platforms and data engineering teams - their practices, problems, and use cases. Continuously refine your understanding of the evolving data stack and how customers use these to solve which problems, and what associated new problems come with that e.g. Spark, Kafka, DBT, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, ETL, BigQuery, Redshift
• Co-define and build the next generation of data observability features with an amazing engineering and design team 
• Collaborate with other Product teams in Datadog to maintain and improve Datadog products correlation and help customers identify incidents root cause and navigate through telemetry faster
• Partner with marketing and cross functional teams including sales, customer success and support teams, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data observability features
  
  

Who You Are: 

• You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (ideally working on an analytics or developer focused SaaS product)
• You have either worked as a data engineer previously or possess a deep interest, understanding and knowledge in data engineering
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to technical stakeholders and executives alike
• You are customer focused with high quality standards for your products
• You are passionate to work in a high growth and impact environment to build new products and scaling existing ones

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $187,000 to $240,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
