Ability to track and analyze buyer engagement has become mission-critical for B2B sales teams. By helping customers to gain visibility into how their sellers interact with buyers and understand what works and what doesn’t, Seismic enables teams to continuously up-level their skills, processes and enablement programs.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Product Manager to join our team and lead data-related initiatives for our buyer engagement products. You will work closely with customers, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams across product, engineering and design,  to define, prioritize and implement features that ensure robust data capture, quality and compliance. Your work will be crucial to ensure that the engagement data and insights we deliver to our customers are accurate, complete and relevant.
 

What you will do:

  1. Own and Execute Roadmap for Buyer Engagement Data:
    • Own and execute on the product roadmap for buyer engagement data including ingest, quality and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
    • Identify the right sources to pull the necessary data from given a set of current and future use cases; work with engineering and integration partners to ensure that said data can be captured or ingested in a way that is scalable and performant.
  2. Data Quality Management:
    • Understand the specific challenges with respect to capturing and processing buyer engagement data for each channel and data source.
    • Work with product and engineering teams to define and implement data quality standards, metrics, and processes to monitor and measure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Proactively identify data quality issues as they arise; identify and implement measures to prevent similar issues in the future.
  3. Compliance Management:
    • Stay up-to-date with key privacy, security and regulatory requirements with respect to collecting, processing and storing buyer engagement data for each vertical and locale.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure that TOS, privacy policy and other documentation is up-to-date and meets legal requirements.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and support internal teams for topics and questions related to regulatory compliance with respect to buyer engagement.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Prior experience as a product management or similar role at a SaaS company.
  • Strong data acumen and understanding of how to analyze, interpret and report on data. Including a basic familiarity with SQL 
  • Previous hands-on experience building, managing or using data products a big plus.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; ability to identify potential risks and edge cases particularly with respect to data.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA a plus. Knowledge of regulations in the financial services industry such as SEC and FINRA is also helpful.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and align with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives.
