Senior Product Manager

We’re hiring for Product Managers with experience in Product Management at various levels with an opportunity to create and build developer tools with empathy in partnership with our Founder.

As a product manager, you think holistically about the solution (user need & experience, performance, value, product architecture, business impact, and time to value), enhance the solution through internal and external collaboration, and deliver the best product to meet our business goals. You thrive in translating complex problems and solutions to succinctly distill them for our go to market teams.

Responsibilities 

• Craft the product story by understanding the landscape, user needs, and Cypress principles
• Write detailed strategy documents to set the context for the product roadmap
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, DX,  and other internal stakeholders on the strategy and tactics of the execution
• Prioritize the product roadmap by taking feedback from Engineering, DX, Go-to-Market teams and the greater Cypress community
• Keep Sales, Marketing, and Success teams updated on feature releases and keep Engineering informed on feature requests
• Help with Sales and Marketing enablement to educate on the product story and features 
• Create product and process feedback loops to measure user success and facilitate data-driven decisions

Skills And Experience

• Former developer who transitioned into product management - motivated by the switch to product to have more impact
• N years (Significant / material) successful experience as a product manager for a product targeted at a technical audience with domain knowledge of developer tools
• Capable of learning and using Cypress as a user would
• Demonstrated cross functional collaboration and communication skills
• Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of infrastructure, cloud and open source

Bonus Skills

• Product management experience for open source, developer  or testing tools
• Developer experience for open source, developer or testing tools
