Wealthsimple Crypto is a mobile-first product that provides access to fully regulated cryptocurrency trading platform - the first of it’s kind in Canada. Crypto launched in September 2020 as a lean MVP, and has become our fastest growing business. We believe crypto will power many aspects of consumer finance in the future, and we’re on a mission create the most human crypto platform in Canada: a simple and secure option that demystifies crypto and makes it accessible to everyone, no matter their age, net worth, background or education.

• Work directly with the Head of Crypto, product leadership, and other members of the executive team to define the Crypto product vision and strategy, including our core trading platform and cutting-edge areas of web3 like decentralized finance and NFTs

•Work with product, design, research, compliance, and other internal and external stakeholders to test various concepts and value propositions to find product-market fit

•Lead the planning, development, and launch of a variety of initiatives and experiments, for example:

- Infrastructure investments to ensure our platform can perform and scale (e.g., Oracle migration, best execution etc.)

• Build a deep understanding of our Crypto systems, processes, and partners — and how they all fit together.

• Be opinionated about how these fit into our strategy.

• Research emerging areas, applications, and companies across the crypto ecosystem to identify product and partnership opportunitiesEngage regularly with current and prospective clients to understand user pain points and needs

• Establish and own a variety of metrics related to the products and features you ship (e.g., adoption funnel, engagement, churn etc.)

• Work closely with the product leadership, and other members of the crypto team to influence the overall Crypto product vision and strategy.

• Work closely with product design to create simple, smart, and inspiring user-experiences that reflect the needs of our customers - functional, educational, emotional and otherwise.

• Help elevate the Product Management practice at Wealthsimple and create an inclusive and supportive team culture.
