Senior Product Manager - Credit Card

Today, over 100 million Americans don't want or can't get a credit card. Yet, there are very few alternatives for establishing your credit other than with a risky Credit Card. Our mission is to make credit building safer, smarter, and more accessible for everyone. Extra is the first debit card that builds your credit and earns rewards points.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a leader who with experience launching a credit card product to market who can lead our credit card team. We’re setting up a cross functional group of engineers, designers, and more to launch Extra’s first credit card, and we’re looking for someone with extensive product management experience, who understands the landscape from a competition and compliance perspective, can lead a team, and who has expertise in launching such a product to customers. What you’ll do:

• Take responsibility for the outcome of the credit card product and keep the team in line with our north star KPIs for the initiative
• Diagnose gaps and opportunities for card usage and conversion then create strategies and experiments and execute on them
• Lead a cross functional team, keep the project on track, and update the company as to the status
• Analyze data and report on the product’s performance
• Collaborate with our legal team to ensure we are abiding by regulations
• Coordinate with other departments related to the launch and ongoing success for the credit card
• Work with the other PMs and design team for research, usability testing, and UX/UI improvements
• Monitor the balance between our rewards program and card usage to maintain a best in class points back program

Minimum Basic Requirements

• Previous experience launching a credit card to market
• 5+ years in product management
• 2+ years in leadership or management positions
• Proven track record of success

Preferred Qualifications

• Analytics skills with excel, SQL, or similar
• Previous experience at hyper-growth startups
• Experience with in-app economies (like tokens, points, etc)
• Hyper focused on thoughtful decision making to really move company KPI’s, 10x not 10%
