Senior Product Manager, Core Protocol

Metaplex has experienced massive growth in less than a year since launch, with over 9 million NFTs created, facilitating over $2 billion in commerce. We have several open positions for experienced Senior Product Managers to join us and lead in key areas: Core Protocol, Developer Experience, and Creator Experience. These roles will report directly to the Head of Product, and will shape the future of Metaplex, and Solana NFTs.Significant previous product management experience is required.Each of these positions have a unique focus and set of skills (more details included below).

Core Protocol, Senior PM

The Protocol Team works to increase use of the Metaplex NFT standard and Program Library by adding high value new features developed by our team and the community, and by scaling & optimizing those features over time.

• Deep understanding of current NFT space, and vision for opportunities beyond PFP.
• Deep respect for engineering contribution, process and participation in shaping product
• Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify, successfully pursue opportunities and new features in early-stage tech.
• Willing to dig into rust code, write documentation, earn trust of engineers, and develop a masterful knowledge of the protocol.
• Bonus points for: previous experience with NFT communities / DAOs / and systems with open source contribution to projects.

• Experience with zero-to-one early stage products

• 3-5+ Years PM experience
• NFT / Crypto Experience
• Complex Technical Product Ownership
• Willing to help run agile process for team
• Demonstrated collaborative approach to working with engineering and design teams
