As our Senior Product Manager, Core Products you'll own the strategy and vision for critical features within our consumer credit products, Zip Pay and Zip Money. You’ll also lead and coach two awesome associate product managers who support the delivery of some of these core features.
Working with a world-class team of software engineers and product designers, you'll lead our mission to simplify and streamline products loved by millions of Australian consumers, further increasing engagement, maximising customer value and driving profitability.
We’ll need you to deliver delightful user experiences that are easy to use, and drive the spend and repayment flywheel that powers Zip - we want to be the preferred way to pay, and your work is central to this mission.
To achieve this you’ll apply your knowledge and skills across consumer lending, agile delivery practices and product leadership, working cross-functionally with risk, analytics, commercial and marketing teams to challenge the status quo and bring everyone together to achieve Zip’s ambitious goals.

To help us level up, you'll need to bring
- 5+ years’ experience in product management roles
- Practical knowledge of consumer credit or payments businesses
- Strong commercial acumen and P&L experience
- Desire to lead and coach early-career product managers
- Experience working with data and analytics to optimise conversion, drive engagement and repeat usage
- Ability to conduct experiments using the latest techniques to test, learn and improve the customer experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident in your own abilities, yet humble enough to admit when wrong
- A natural leadership style, with a positive disposition and he desire to achieve lofty outcomes
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and able to move with a sense of urgency, but sensitive enough to give people space/comfort to add suggestions
- A love of autonomy and working in close teams
- Knowledge and practical application of Design Thinking, Lean and Agile principles
