Senior Product Manager, Core Client

We are looking for a senior product manager to help us scale our customer interfacing products. You will be working closely with engineers, designers, and data analysts to identify and drive the development of our core client platform, from a technical and UX perspective. This role is based out of our Amsterdam office and you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders on more than 30 different teams that develop on this platform across the globe.

After years of successful development, our main customer facing product is used by tens of thousands users daily, on hundreds of pages and tasks, that helps them to succeed in the future of global commerce. But that comes with challenges of scale - how to allow every single team to own its part on a complex product, coherence - how to create a cohesive and consistent experience for all of our users, and speed - how to allow speed in this complex environment. The Core Client team owns that challenge. 

What you’ll do:

• Own the strategy for the Core Client team, defining OKRs, product vision and strategy of the Core Client Framework and Experience.
• Help the engineering team to define the strategy and execution for a new technical architecture that would allow speed and consistency on our customer facing products.
• Lead the development and evolution of core shared components on our products, that ensure a consistent user experience across different products on a complex ecosystem.
• Establish metrics, processes, and dashboards for monitoring and evaluation of the success of your products - both internal and external facing.
• Own the strategy for some of our end-user products, and apply the learnings and definitions from the platform you helped to create - we eat our own dog food.

Who you are:

• You have conceived of and launched multiple successful technical products at scale (5+ years in product management).
• You are effective in finding, growing, leading and coaching talent in product management.
• Strong understanding of technical products and/or architecture to collaborate closely with engineers to build highly complex products at scale.
• Singular focus on (distributed) customer experience and how to create consistency and cohesion between products, with the ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to identify the best possible outcome for the customer.
• Excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, navigate ambiguity and balance competing demands and limited resources.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to keep them engaged in making key decisions and informed of progress.
