The Content Intelligence organization aims for Spotify to have the most complete and correct information in the music industry. Through a diverse set of initiatives including our content knowledge graph, human-in-the-loop, creator/content representation, and proactive content moderation, our squads in Content Intelligence strive to accurately model the full landscape of content at Spotify.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Content Intelligence product area and help drive the direction and development of proactive content moderation at scale. As a part of our team, you will work closely with engineering, machine learning research, policy experts etc. to build machine learning-powered systems in the content understanding space. Your work will affect the experience of millions of users globally and be instrumental in keeping Spotify a safe and compliant platform where creativity can thrive.

What you'll do

Drive the conceptualization and development of the proactive content moderation system’s strategy and roadmap
Establish a mechanism to measure (quantitative and qualitative) the performance of our proactive content moderation methods leveraging state-of-the-art research available internally and externally
Collaborate with a team of skilled machine learning engineers, data scientists, trust/safety teams, and legal to set the product vision strategy, and roadmap for your area
Communicate complex concepts and experiments in a clear and effective manner to technical and non-technical audiences
Continually improve your products and tooling via an ongoing build-measure-learn cycle
Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on product development and new initiatives

Who you are

A top-tier product manager who has led a large scoped and technical problem and taken it from inception to launch
Strong grasp of the complete machine learning product lifecycle from goal setting to data collection/labeling to model development/deployment/measurement
Lead data-driven product discovery to identify high-value opportunities for ML products and then prioritize what to build Now-Next-Later
Passionate about how products work “under the hood” and comfortable discussing technical challenges with engineers
Self-starter who can collaborate with cross-functional partners in a dynamic environment, articulate trade-offs, influence teams, and deliver results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The United States base range for this position is 131 859-188 370 USD, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
