Senior Product Manager - Consumer Trust

To help us deliver on this mission, we are on the hunt for an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager who puts the customer first, is passionate about user experience and building businesses while building great products.

THE TEAM
You’ll be joining a global team of experienced and talented Product Managers, Engineers and Designers who are focused on building a product that empowers and enables customers to participate in great live experiences. We are passionate about live events, motivated, collaborative, and a fun-loving team responsible for a high-growth, global business.

THE ROLE
You will have the ownership to create the Consumer Trust ecosystem to help millions of Eventbrite creators to measure their quality and performance and help consumers to discover events based on that information. You'll set a compelling long-term vision for our reviews and user-generating content system and define the strategy, roadmap, and tactical steps to get there.

You are going to work on creating solutions for both side marketplace. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role in which you will work with multiple stakeholders, other product managers, engineers, data scientists, designers, and integrity operations experts, both within and across business units.  

Your role is critical to impact millions of would-be event-goers and helping our marketplace become a trusted tool for exploring and attending the best events on Eventbrite.

YOU WILL

  • Lead the ideation, research, design, development and launch of user-centric products
  • Understand consumers and creators needs; identify and define product requirements
  • Create clear goals for the team. Drive product development with a world-class team of Engineers, Designers and Data Scientists to deliver impact for our business and users.
  • Use data and metrics to inform your strategy and success criteria
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and services to bring products to market

THE SKILLSET

  • Passion for live events, frequently attending events and buying tickets online
  • Strong prioritization and focus, including comfort in making tradeoffs with incomplete information
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence, and work as part of a team
  • Great communication skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to influence team members across all departments and levels of the organization
  • Ability to rapidly understand user needs, respond to tight deadlines, and deliver solutions that drive key business metrics
  • Data-driven, analytical problem solver
  • User-first mindset with experience in user research and testing

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with user-generated content products
  • Experience working in two-sided marketplaces
  • Experience using Eventbrite’s product as a creator and/or attendee
