Senior Product Manager - Channels | Remotely from EMEA

MessageBird is transforming the way businesses communicate with their customers, and at the core of the platform, you will find our channel product offering. This includes OTT channels like WhatsApp, Google’s Business Messages, Instagram Direct Messages, Facebook Messenger and more.

As a Senior Product Manager focussing on Channels, you will drive the continuous improvement and expansion of up to three OTT channels. You will work closely with our partners to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to new channel feature development and driving adoption and continuous improvement of the channels you own.

You will be responsible for channel APIs that are available to external and internal customers that enable them to build omnichannel applications on top. You will work closely with PMs on the Applications side of the business, to ensure channel functionality can propagate throughout the platform.

What You’ll Do

As a natural product leader you synthesise the needs of our customers with your strategic insights and our aspirations into a compelling and inspiring product vision, strategy and roadmap.
Your empathy of enterprise and SMB customer pains and gains at the digital frontier enables you to design and prioritise product features that matter most to our customers.
Your strong stakeholder management helps you understand the priorities of your engineering, operations and business partners so that your roadmap has the right mix of platform and product priorities to support our value and growth goals.
Your track record in delivering complex projects and scalable telecoms platforms and products for API B2B customers will be invaluable as you shape and drive our growth narrative in SMS.
You compile and narrate clear and concise stories that inspire your internal partners, and act as the bridge between customers, business and the engineering teams you need to mobilise to deliver your roadmaps.
The metrics that you focus on to discover insights, validate ideas and inform your decisions will be fueled by your strong analytical thinking, conversations with your customers and a deep understanding of the SMS landscape.
Your sensemaking superpower allows you to dive into the details and yet craft a big picture to see the leverage points that will create value and growth for your product.

What You’ll Bring

A minimum of 5 years experience in Product Management, having successfully delivered complex projects and scalable SMS / telecoms platforms for Connectivity, Enterprise and SMB customers.
A minimum 3 years experience leading high tech engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions.
You understand the world of Platforms, Ecosystems and APIs and can apply that understanding to build standout developer experiences.
You have experience building scalable and reliable telecoms/technical platforms and CPaaS services.
You are insatiably curious and taking a look under the hood helps you learn and adapt.
You have experience working in a fast-paced organisation with an agile product-engineering environment.
Previous hands-on software development experience building scalable technical solutions.
