As a Senior Product Manager – Certification at Databricks, you will apply your experience and expertise in certification product and program management to lead a Data + AI certification program. In this role, you will own the full go-to-market strategy of the certification program. You will report to the Sr. Director, Curriculum Development.
You'll work closely with global partners and customer stakeholders, marketing and other go-to-market teams, and the certification content development team to deliver an industry-leading Data + AI certification program to Databricks partners and customers and the entire Data + AI industry.
The impact you will have:
- Lead the goal of reaching 50,000 annual awarded certifications as part of the Databricks certification program
- Work with the certification content team to build certification program strategy to ensure company and stakeholder needs are being met, including vendor selection, proctoring strategy, credentialing, and the use of data-driven insights
- Define programs for driving industry awareness and adoption of Databricks certifications and collaborate with marketing and events experts to promote the program, certified individuals, and the release/update of certification exams
- Provide answers and support to assist the Support Team with questions and/or respond to escalated support issues related to certification
What we look for:
- Experience with target certification audiences
- Data-driven decision making
- Solid program and stakeholder management experience
- 5+ years of experience designing and executing the go-to-market strategy of a technical certification program
- 5+ years of experience facilitating stakeholder input and management for a technical certification program
- [Preferred] Experience working in environments related to big data analytics such as data engineering, data analytics, machine learning, and cloud
