At Turo, product managers guide the process of shipping world-class products that enable guests to book the perfect car for their trip and hosts to build a thriving business, which is central to Turo's mission of putting the world's 1.5+ billion cars to better use.

About our team:

The catalog services team is responsible for the vehicle catalog that powers much of Turo’s product experience, including search, listing details, pricing recommendations, and risk management. Our ambition is to build the most innovative and useful data resource about motor vehicles in the world. We’re seeking an exceptional product manager to help create the next generation of Turo’s vehicle catalog that will play a vital role in Turo’s expansion to new countries and verticals.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll define the product vision and strategy for building and scaling our catalog infrastructure, in collaboration with a dedicated team of engineers and key stakeholders.
  • You’ll work closely with engineering, analytics, research, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand existing pain points and opportunities, and synthesize them into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications.
  • You’ll partner with your team to execute on your roadmap and build outstanding software products.
  • You’ll own product decisions directly impacting the growth of Turo and the customer experience.
  • You'll become a trusted advocate and thought leader for catalog product initiatives.
  • You’ll analyze and report on key product initiatives to leadership, product teams, and other key stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with engineering teams prioritizing, building, and shipping high-quality products.
  • Good judgment and self-direction.
  • Humble, low-ego teammates focused on shipping what's best for our customers.
  • Experience with agile development processes.
  • Experience working with catalogs and/or large scale content ingestion systems is ideal
  • Experience with (or deep interest in) cars and/or the automotive industry is preferred
  • Open to varying levels of seniority

Why you'll love being a part of our team

  • We're efficient, letting data drive our decisions and prioritizing our work based on impact
  • We're supportive, always striving to connect, collaborate, and lift each other up
  • We're down-to-earth, leading confidently without arrogance, and maintaining humility in our work, our culture, and our product
  • We are a high-growth company with strong financial performance and plentiful opportunities for career growth
  • We've embraced a flexible work model, bringing together the benefits of in-person collaboration while being able to work from home when you choose.
