Your Role

As the Senior Product Manager- Booking, you will be pivotal in disrupting the logistics industry by reimagining how customers book sea, air, and freight shipments via Forto. You will build one of the earliest and most important experiences customers have with Forto. As such, you will drive the product vision and strategy, build the product roadmap, create requirements based on customer needs and feedback, and partner with engineering to deliver a simple, intuitive booking experience. We’re looking for someone who backs decisions with data, is comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced environment, measures success through customer happiness and company growth, and wants to speak regularly with customers to understand their pain points, collect ideas, and gather feedback on our product.

You will

Partner with research, user experience, sales, and other teams to understand customers’ needs
Lead a large and complex product domain, crafting the vision, strategy, and value propositions, prioritizing competing features based on their value to customers, and driving end-to-end delivery of the roadmap
Understand market trends, customer requirements, and operational dependencies to create a customer-centric booking experience
Work as a part of a highly collaborative cross-functional and creative team to oversee the planning, development, and launch throughout the full product lifecycle
Be close to the competition and understand our competitors’ strategies and product features
Work closely with product marketing on positioning, messaging, training, product launches and go-to-market strategies for new features
Lead requirement gathering efforts by consulting with stakeholders, analyzing relevant data, and conducting customer research
Measure the value of product features to customers by developing and tracking key metrics

What you bring

5+ years of end-to-end product management experience including customer research, roadmap definition, product prioritization, feature delivery, and metric tracking
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop a product roadmap based on research, data, and industry trends
Experience working closely with research and user experience teams
Ability to create simple user experiences in an incredibly complex industry
Proven self-starter who can identify new and innovative opportunities, develop strategies to drive growth, and push projects forward
Ability to build consensus amongst stakeholders with different perspectives or priorities
Passion for customer interaction and history of reimagining products that delight customers
Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level - within teams, to leadership, within the company, to customers, and other audiences
Experience with B2B products preferred
