Senior Product Manager - Billing & Identity Management

MessageBird is transforming the way businesses communicate with their customers, and at the core of the platform, you will find our channel product offering.  We’re one of the fastest-growing software companies in the world and we’re looking to expand our impressive Product Team with an experienced Product Manager for Billing & Identity Management.

The Senior Product Manager will own Accounts, Users, and Billing and will play a key role in facilitating seamless account integration with our MessageBird products. The Senior Product Manager will also nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders including the Customer Success Team and the Compliance Team in order to identify emerging customer needs and advocate if/when/how we should pursue new initiatives. Working on core foundational components of our platform, this opportunity has the potential for a company-wide impact across our entire product suite.

Experience We Look For

• 5+ years experience managing software products, with experience in financial technology or in B2B SaaS companies as a plus.
• Proven track record managing stakeholders across multiple company teams and functions.
• Excellent written communication skills (we use narratives, not PowerPoint!).
• Strong aptitude for executing product development in modern software development lifecycles.
• Previous experience working with accounts, user identity, and/or billing for enterprise SaaS products is a bonus but not required.

Strategy & Alignment

• Understand the needs of the customer, and the needs of the business. Help us align the two via a clear strategic approach and impactful roadmap.
• Understand the state of the market to inform your strategic positioning.
• Plan your roadmap with internal stakeholders, product designers, and your development teams.
• Identify opportunities and initiatives to enable MessageBird to scalably meet high customer demand.

Execution

• Define the scope of work: break down initiatives into releases, epics, and stories. Set definition of done and success criteria. 
• Get Sh*t Done: instill urgency by creating measurable objectives and deadlines
• Balance speed of development without sacrificing quality.
• Build relationships with your engineering, design, and customer success peers to effectively coordinate development efforts.

Operations

• Track and manage dependencies across multiple development teams and business functions.
• Define and track success measures and metrics for your products and initiatives.
• Communicate progress through regular demos, walkthroughs, and metrics analysis.
• Contribute to GTM team enablement efforts as the subject matter expert by creating documentation, walkthroughs, and presentations.
