Your Mission
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working closely with other product managers, engineers, UX designers, researchers, and data professionals. Your role involves creating and executing a vision for a product area, constantly learning from our customers, and iterating to improve the user experience. You will also collaborate with our UX team, composed of product designers, researchers, and writers.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who can envision GetYourGuide beyond its current state, champion our users' voices, and execute a compelling vision.
Successful PMs at GetYourGuide bring a growth mindset and drive business and customer impact by identifying opportunities, getting buy-in from your stakeholders, and executing with urgency.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for your product area, set clear, measurable goals, and take full responsibility for outcomes. Drive sustained customer impact through a long-term (12 months+) roadmap, identifying areas for non-incremental impact.
- Articulate and connect your product area’s strategy to the company’s mission. Break down the strategy into actionable steps, regularly update stakeholders on progress, and create excitement for your long-term vision. Build alignment within cross-functional teams and with outside stakeholders.
- Analyze customer feedback, market trends, and business metrics to inform decision-making. Prioritize initiatives, re-evaluate the roadmap based on new insights, and ensure the most valuable features are delivered first. Make strategic decisions on sequencing and prioritizing product work to maximize impact and learning.
- Build trust with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to set clear expectations and align them with your product area’s roadmap. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and create buy-in across the organization.
- Plan and execute experiments to test hypotheses, develop A/B tests, and analyze data to derive actionable insights. Leverage experimentation to evaluate your team's investment and inform future product decisions.
- Represent customer interests at all levels of the organization, advocating for user needs in strategic discussions. Act with openness and transparency with your team, peers, and executive leadership. Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members, helping them grow and develop their skills. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and advocate for user needs in strategic discussions.
