Senior Product Manager, Atlas Search

Join our Atlas Search product team, collaborating closely with product design, engineering, analytics, marketing, and user research professionals. Our mission is to drive long-term growth for Atlas Search, focusing on an exceptional end-to-end developer experience for those looking to adopt our product. As a valued team member, you'll delve into customer challenges, formulate hypotheses, and validate them with innovative solutions. Success in this role involves consistently identifying opportunities to integrate MongoDB into user and company workflows worldwide.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in the US. 

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for partnering with our “human led growth” squad – championing Atlas Search with all customer facing teams and externally through events and customer engagements
• Own improving our product feedback loop with the field and operationalizing our customer outreach 
• Responsible for managing customer escalations; owning the cross functional processes that enable our human teams to effectively support Atlas Search customers throughout their lifecycle with the product
• Have a deep relationship and understanding of top Atlas Search accounts; as well as an understanding of the new and upcoming opportunities
• Identify user needs and pains, barriers to adoption, and business opportunities through a combination of research, feedback collection, and competitive analyses
• Work closely with the rest of the Atlas Search product team to provide input from our customers and contribute to the long-term vision of our product in support of our goals
• Drive execution of these opportunities end-to-end

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of product management experience, with 2-3 of those years in a customer-facing role 
• You have deep experience with Search technologies (e.g. Elastic, Solr, Lucidworks) and working on products with a developer persona
• You have experience writing code or queries to resolve technical issues your customers are facing 
• You have the ability to collaborate with people from different parts of the company to ensure that your product-led thinking drives real business impact
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present technical content to diverse non-technical audiences
• You have experience with the full product development process: ideation, research, creation, design, execution, quality testing, etc
• You know that developing great products isn’t just about shipping the feature, but thinking about all the outside interactions the user has as well (documentation, support, forums, blogs, etc.)
