Senior Product Manager - Assets

We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to join our growing Wise Account Team and take ownership of Wise’s new investment product. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow as a product leader and empower millions more people with instant, borderless money.

Your mission: 

Wise has already pioneered new ways for people to hold multiple currencies with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking, on top of our incomparable strength in transferring money across borders.

Now it’s time to empower our customers to hold other forms of money such as equity, bonds, and even cryptocurrencies without sacrificing any convenience. We call this Assets. It’s the Wise way of evolving managing money, and our approach is not limited to just investment thinking. Spending from Assets will always be instant. The freedom to grow with the simplicity of a current account.

You’ll be enriching the Assets experience globally; in the UK where it is already launched, as well as in new markets where we will go live soon. As a core proposition of the Wise account, Assets will make international banking easier and cheaper.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to our Wise Account Team:

• You'll build our investments team, hiring Product Managers and any other functions as necessary
• You’ll be figuring out the vision and goals of the team; how to measure them and how to set the OKRs – you’ll make the decisions and define the product strategy with the team 
• You’ll work with designers and researchers to understand and solve the  biggest problems people have related to international banking 
• You’ll launch our investments product globally; our customers already trust us with their savings, you’ll help them to get their savings to work for them 

This role will give you the opportunity to: 

• Work closely with other teams at Wise from Banking to Customer Services to get us closer to our mission and solve customer problems

A bit about you: 

• Customer-focus – You’ve worked on a product with thousands or even millions of customers, ran surveys or research and interviewed people who used your product 
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on Product Leader– You have delivered high impact products before in data-driven environments
• You’re data-driven –  You are able to prioritise the value you can add to customers, and get the entire company behind you telling a story with the data you have enquired 
• You love getting things done -  You make things happen instead of wondering why things happened. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility to do whatever needs doing to solve customer problems
• You understand technology and how to build products well enough to be able to help the team know when to invest in tech debt reduction, bugs or new features.
• You are comfortable working closely with compliance and regulators
• You can lead, inspire people and build teams - you can hire awesome talent and also get the best out of people. You have led and grown multiple product managers before directly. You are able to get the team to dream big, align on a commonly agreed vision and draw a clear path to get there.

Some extra skills that would be great (but not essential):

• Familiarity with consumer investments products
