What you will be doing

  • You will run the end-to-end product lifecycle of Arena initiatives you are responsible for.
  • Create, communicate, and execute the roadmap and strategy to achieve the goals
  • Create use-cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements that clearly articulate the functionality of the product that will be developed.
  • Own and manage the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, partner, and customer requests by using sound judgment and decisive tradeoffs.
  • Develop competitive expertise to assist in outbound product positioning and inform internal development priorities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver an amazing product and an exceptional user experience.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to successfully roll out the products and ensure an outstanding end-to-end user experience.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have:

  • 6+ years of product experience, preferably in a SaaS platform software
  • Industry experience and familiarity with UI design and best practices, APIs, general programming languages and concepts, including web and mobile application architectures and components, and network effect concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills: prioritization, effective time management, conflict resolution, risk identification, and mitigation.
  • Depth of experience leading business-critical product initiatives. You can take big ideas and turn them into a roadmap of features and research with minimal guidance.
  • Tireless eye for detail and demonstrated an obsession with building great user experiences
  • Natural leadership. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People love working with you.
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile development process
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and feel comfortable talking to native English speakers on a daily basis

Nice-to-Have Education

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education.

Example Responsibilities

  • Prepare project, epic, and sprint plans with the Tech Leads
  • Deliver projects on time and within quality standards
  • Ensure all relevant tasks have a technical plan before development is started
  • Coordinate technical plans with the Architecture Team and make sure the development is aligned with their designs
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentoring to the engineers and designers working in your team
  • Maintain a friendly, non-hierarchical team
  • Manage releases and war-rooms
  • Contribute hands-on features  from wireframe to production releases
  • Serve as a responsive contact point to other departments and customers
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1s with team members
