Senior Product Manager - API/Integration

We are hiring for a Senior Product Manager position, focused on API and integrations in order to support Spendesk’s fast-paced growth. This role will be instrumental in continuing to build strong core product features for our desktop app.

This person is responsible for identifying and prioritizing the correct complex topics on the API & Integrations scope. They will build the plan to address them and they will focus on execution to deliver the best experience to our users.

This person will achieve these goals by collaborating closely with engineering leads, software developers, designers, data analysts, and data engineers. They will also work closely with Product Marketing to ensure the execution of effective go-to-market for the features they are building.

This person will report to the Lead Product Manager, Core Product.

- 4+ years of experience in Product Management working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.

- You’ve got an Engineering, CS, STEM degree, or attended a code bootcamp.

- You’re confident about deep-diving into intricate technical topics and are aware of tradeoffs between scalability, security, and performance. When it comes to APIs and webhooks you hold all the secrets and come up with creative solutions to solve challenging topics.

- Experience in working closely with a product development team, including knowledge of Agile software development processes.

- Excellent communication and writing skills.

- Problem-solving mindset and ability to dig in to complex topics.

- Proven ability to use data to guide their decision and nurture the product roadmap.

- Proven ability to navigate complex, technical, cross-functional projects.

- You have experience in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup/scale-up or large tech organization.

- You know your way with code, eventually have used various web, scripting, or querying languages in the past (Javascript/NodeJS, Ruby, SQL, Python, PHP, etc.).

- You’ve already worked on app ecosystems, integration marketplace products or integrators. You understand the dynamics that encourage partners and developers to build apps.

- You’ve built and maintained an API, an open-source project, or are involved with a tech community.
