Senior Product Manager

Role:

Airtame is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Collaboration team. You will help us on our mission to become the preferred platform for shared screens in organisations. The collaboration team is leading our efforts within video conferencing and screen sharing, meaning the interface that hundreds of thousands of teachers, students and knowledge workers interact with on a daily basis to communicate more effectively. 

In this role you will manage and support the development of our cross-platform screen sharing and cross-service conferencing offering by collaborating across the organisation to scope and prioritise software investments. You will be responsible for the end-to-end discovery and delivery of everything related to the end-users experience of collaborating using Airtame.

Accountabilities

• Work closely with the VP of Product to define the mid-term roadmap objectives, research investments & product direction. 
• Help improve our product discovery and development workflows, release process and go-to-market support.
• Ensure alignment across the different product and platform teams, by facilitating synchronisation between the other product professionals.
• Providing mentorship and coaching for the other product professionals.
• Ensure that there’s a clear strategy for the product that is in coherence with the product vision and guiding principles
• Build a product roadmap based on customer needs, resources, and strategic opportunities.
• Prioritise, prepare and conduct user research in collaboration with the product designers.
• Ensure a value-driven prioritisation balancing new features, bug fixes and technical debt management together with the QA and Engineering leads. Write clear requirements for prioritised work.
• Ensure the successful launch of everything the team ships, which means being accountable for the quality of the solution and the outcomes that it has on drives for customers and the business.
• Assist the Engineering and Design peers with the planning and the execution of their development sprints.
• Collaborate with commercial stakeholders like sales, marketing & customer success to align the organisation about the why and what your team is building.

Competencies

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with agile methodologies and backlog management, either as product manager or product owner in an organisation with multiple teams
• Experience using both quantitative data (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., user feedback) to inform product prioritisation.
• Experience in collaboration with full stack software teams.
• Ability to plan, design and perform user research to obtain a deeper understanding of users and to test solution hypothesis. 
• You collaborate well cross-functionally—especially with engineering, marketing, sales, and support—to get an organisation working together towards strategic objectives.
• Analytical and well organised when working with the continuously changing knowledge around our product/features.
• Excellent communicator (verbally and written) in English, with the ability to communicate effectively to a team on location and with distributed members.
