Senior Product Designer - Wise Platform

We’re looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our London based Platform team. You’ll be part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Because people without borders need money without borders.

How should global money work? How do you take a complex, stressful experience and make it simple, calming even? How do you challenge the way it’s always been done? How do you collaborate in a human-centred way to ship work you’re truly proud of?

These are just a few of the challenges a Senior Product Designer will work on as part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Right now we move £6 billion every month for over 11 million people. But we're only 2% done — because people without borders deserve money without borders.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working with the cross-functional teams that make up Wise Platform — a squad that helps banks and large enterprises move the world’s money with speed, certainty and ease. You'll also be part of the Wise Design Community and will regularly collaborate with designers across Wise.

You’ll contribute to the mission by:

• Building empathy and a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and partner priorities, as well as their end users
• Discovering, conceptualising, and crafting design solutions that deliver simple, beautifully, intuitive experiences that delight customers and drive business outcomes: 
• Using your experience and influence to increase customer-centricity, creativity, and design quality
• Working with designers from other squads, to build a single, seamless experience for all customers
• Using your experience and influence to increase customer-centricity, creativity, and design quality

Day to day you'll be:

• Supporting in translating our new Platform brand into systemised guidelines creating templates for other teams to build from
• Leading work crafting designs that tell the story of our platform solutions in engaging ways across core surfaces such as logged-out web
• Collaborating with your team and external partners to apply our new brand to a range of design deliverables from sales deck and social posts to pitch decks 
• Launching new additions of our flagship conference, Wise Connect - partnering with Wise Platform team members to craft a compelling experience for delegates

A bit about you: 

• You’ve an accomplished Product Designer with with a portfolio of well-crafted, impactful design work
• You are passionate about brand and know how to translate design concepts into production ready deliverables; collaborating with partners from  engineering teams to agencies to bring concepts to life 
• You can know how to apply your design skills to a range of mediums - you are comfortable designing for responsive web surfaces (desktop and mobile) and have basic knowledge of print production too
• You’ve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that is both accessible and scalable
• You are a strong x-functional collaborator and accomplished storyteller
• You proactively demonstrate exceptional problem solving skills and holistic design thinking
• You’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment.
• You’re influential, inspiring, and able to work with others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment
