At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced globally is wasted — a huge contributor to climate change, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re growing fast. Our community of 118 million registered users and 246,000 active partners across 19 countries has already prevented over 443 million meals from going to waste — avoiding more than 1,198,000 tonnes of CO2e in the process.

In this role, you’ll join as a Senior Product Designer focused on elevating our partner platform — the tools used daily by cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, and restaurants to fight food waste. These fast-paced businesses rely on our platform to keep things running smoothly. Your job? Make sure those tools aren’t just usable — but a joy to use.

Your Mission

We’re looking for a strong visual designer who also knows how to build intuitive, user-friendly experiences. Someone who sweats the details, loves well-crafted UIs, and gets excited about shaping design patterns that scale.
You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product team (PM, developers, analyst), collaborate closely with the Product Design Lead (who you'll report to), and work alongside other designers across Copenhagen and France. This role is all about raising the quality of our partner tools — both visually and functionally — and creating consistent, delightful experiences across the board.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive end-to-end design in your product team, focusing on our web-based partner platform

  • Play a key part in evolving our newly started global design system in Figma — using your visual expertise to help define the direction and contribute to its foundations

  • Collaborate with PMs, analysts, engineers, and fellow designers to define problems and ship thoughtful solutions

  • Turn complex workflows into clean, simple, and logical UIs

  • Define and test hypotheses, use insights to guide your design decisions, and communicate your rationale clearly

  • Push the quality bar — and help us have fun while doing it

What We’re Looking For

  • Several years of experience as a product or visual designer — but exact years of experience matter less to us than craft excellence, strong product intuition, and a growth mindset

  • A portfolio that shows strong visual design, attention to detail, and a clear, modern aesthetic in your responsive web solutions

  • Experience contributing to or building design systems in Figma

  • A great storyteller that can effectively communicate your ideas and designs to stakeholders of all levels

  • Ability to design logical flows, intuitive information architecture, and reusable patterns — while keeping things accessible and user-centered

  • Comfortable using data and conducting research to inform your decisions

  • A collaborative and humble mindset — you enjoy sharing ideas, giving feedback, and learning from others

  • A curious approach — you stay up to date with UI trends, like to explore new tools, and think about how AI might enhance your workflow

  • Bonus: experience with motion or animation in UI (but not required)

What We Offer

  • A chance to design for real impact — helping businesses save food every day

  • A meaningful role at an exciting time where you can help shape design direction and culture

  • Colleagues who care deeply about the mission, the product, and each other

  • A large and growing product team that values collaboration and knowledge sharing

  • Lunch, snacks, and Friday drinks in the office — plus several big company events each year

  • A discount for a gym membership located in the same office building

  • Flexibility: hybrid work setup, vacation days, and time to volunteer

  • A competitive salary, company pension, and health insurance

  • A creative, inclusive, and down-to-earth team culture with room to grow

How to Apply

  • Please check our website and international media to get a good overview of Too Good To Go

  • Submit your CV and portfolio in English

Please note: we only accept applications through our platform. No CV or portfolio will be accepted via email or LinkedIn direct messaging.
