Senior Product Designer job at Ledger

Founded in 2014, Ledger is a leader in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications. We have been growing at a fast pace over the past few years, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer, focusing on Ledger Vault, to work with a team of skilled product managers responsible for our enterprise solutions based in Paris.

Responsabilities

You’ll be participating in all stages of the design and production of clear and coherent user interfaces, and working in collaboration with our Product Managers to enhance our solution, the Ledger Vault. The Vault is the B2B Product of Ledger Enterprise Solutions, used by custodians, exchanges, crypto banks and professional investors. This web app allows our clients to send and receive transactions according to customizable governance rules, all while enjoying the end-to-end security of our solution. Every action entails an interaction with the Personal Security Device which the user has connected to their computer. You’ll ensure brand consistency between both the web app and firmware.

Missions

Developing deep contextual understanding of our business, our clients, our users, and their needs
Analyzing user interface problems and designing solutions that meet business goals and requirements
Maintaining and growing the design system and component library to fit the needs of the product
Working on the spec of a product owner to transform either a simple logic flow or mockup to a ready to dev UX/UI ready feature design
Contributing to product requirements to ensure that user flows are intuitive, that product components are laid out logically and coherently, and that we continuously work to reduce cognitive load for our User community
Creating sketches, wireframes and hi-fidelity prototypes, and testing these with users
Being involved in planning, preparing and conducting user research, usability studies and user interviews
Maintaining competitive awareness
Animation of workshops (brainstorming, design sprints etc.)
Collaborating with broader cross-functional teams to ensure input is captured (Sales, Account Managers, Developers and more)

Skills and Qualification

Prior blockchain experience is a must - personal or professional
You have proven work experience as a product designer
You have extensive experience using user-centered design methods (journey maps, interviews, personas, user flows, wires, prototypes, etc) in your work
You have experience working closely with product management and dev teams to both discover and deliver solutions
You have a strong portfolio demonstrating both UI and UX design skills
Ability to speak and write in English fluently
You have a problem-solver spirit as well as a sense of constructive criticism
You're organized, comfortable with multi-tasking and have a strong ability to prioritize your workload
You have excellent leadership and relationship building skills.
You’re open-minded and are capable of great empathy.
You’re up-to-date on the latest product trends, techniques and technologiesPrior experience with Adobe CC : Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
Solid experience of prototype tools, specifically Figma
