ustwo is looking for a freelance Senior Product Designer to join the design team in our New York Studio.

We're looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Senior UI Product Designer who can translate ideas, insights and requirements into tangible high-fidelity designs. You will be working in a cross-discipline team, collaborating with delivery, strategy, tech, and other product designers to design prototypes and vision outputs. You are comfortable working iteratively and can pivot seamlessly between digital platforms. Our Senior-level designers are typically involved in a high level of client stakeholder interaction, so clear communication skills are critical.

KEY SKILLS

Design & Requirements

  • Ability to work iteratively, collaborating closely with various project teams and clients in order to define problems and goals
  • Ability to design elegant flows, screens and interactions for a global audience across platforms and client verticals
  • Strong design aesthetic and a broad range of styles, with the ability to create multiple takes on a given state or experience
  • The ability to translate insights, principles and guidelines into world-class digital products and experiences 
  • Ability to clearly articulate challenges and opportunities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and are able to pivot and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to give and receive feedback from other designers and cross-disciplinary partners
  • Intuitive to the needs of the clients, designers and cross-discipline teams
  • Minimum 5 years of cross-platform design experience (Web, android, iOS and responsive web) at an agency or brand that you can demonstrate in an online or digital portfolio showcasing work for leading brands

Working practices

  • Experience working within an Agile process
  • Sharp eye for detail and an abundance of ideas
  • Able to communicate effectively both internally and externally in both written and verbally
  • Polished and confident presentation skills and the experience and ability to work with client stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and a defender of good ideas whether they are yours or come from others
  • Working with a cross-discipline team of product designers, developers and delivery managers to ensure delivery of high-quality products on time and on budget
  • Understand clients’ design needs and work within those constraints
  • Communicate design specifications with other designers and developers
  • Clearly present various stages of interface design development, concepts and ideas to business owners, team members and stakeholders of all levels
  • The ability to deal with pressure and can work in a fast-paced environment 
  • A collaborative working style and a positive attitude
