Senior Product Designer (Freelance)

We are looking for a highly skilled senior product designer who has experience in responsive web and feels comfortable leading on visual design for complex interfaces. The focus of this project is to ideate and bring concepts to life in the most engaging way, not create production ready designs. You will be working with a very basic existing design system and should feel comfortable and confident pushing the existing design language to improve the visual identity. This role will involve a high level of client stakeholder engagement and interaction, so clear communication skills are critical.

Start 4th-11th April until 13th May

Location

This role is expected to be fully remote, UK or CET or EET time zones. The team is mostly based in London so there is an opportunity to meet in our studio space if your location allows!

Key Skills 

Design & Requirements

• Experience visualising and prototyping concepts to varying levels of fidelity to demonstrate and validate ideas
• Strong digital product design visual skills a must
• Able to distil complex themes into easy to understand concepts 
• Comfortable exploring visual concepts and layouts 
• Experience working with SaaS companies and/or with complex interfaces/dashboards a nice to have
• Confident working in Figma
• Must have responsive web experience
• Comfortable working at pace, without a design system to rely on
• Organised and self-motivated and comfortable working independently 

Working practices

• Experience working with an Agile process
• Working with a cross discipline team of designers to ensure delivery of high-quality prototypes, on time
• Engage clients and stakeholders in design solutions that fit their needs
• Understand clients’ design needs and work within those constraints
• Communicate design specifications with other designers; validate and monitor quality output
• Clearly present various stages of interface design development, concepts and ideas to business owners, team members and stakeholders of all levels
• The ability to deal with pressure and can work in a fast-paced environment
