The Tock Design team is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join a mission-driven design team and company dedicated to supporting restaurants and the hospitality industry. We’re building innovative and powerful tools that fundamentally change how restaurants, wineries, and culinary businesses operate. And we’re creating a search and discovery network that connects these businesses with millions of diners around the world, giving consumers a trusted guide to find delicious experiences from destination-worthy, award-winning spots to neighborhood favorites.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with your product teammates on our most important projects and biggest opportunities. Your focus will be on execution. You’ll deliver beautiful, highly polished designs that bring to life ideas that directly impact our thousands of customers and millions of users.

The Senior Product Designer position will report to the Design Manager, and can be located in Chicago or work remote from anywhere in the USA.

All Tock employees are working remotely at this time. We are closely monitoring the status of COVID-19 as we continue our work to build a return-to-work plan that ensures a safe return to our offices and provides flexibility for our employees.

• Explore ideas and solutions to some of our most exciting design challenges
• Create prototypes to test and validate your ideas
• Produce intuitive, beautiful, and user-centered designs
• Work alongside your engineering teammates to support projects through launch
• Collect insights and user feedback to iterate and improve designs
• Support your design teammates by providing candid and constructive feedback on their own projects
• Contribute to our growing design system and brand identity

Who We’re Looking For 

• At least 5 years of experience designing and shipping products with a portfolio to demonstrate
• Experience designing for mobile and web
• Excellent visual and interaction skills
• Familiarity with design systems
• Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product stakeholders
