Building Snorkel Flow requires outstanding engineers and technologies across the stack, including scalable data pipelines, elegant and intuitive interfaces (both visual and programmatic), state-of-the-art ML modeling techniques, and best practices for seamless deployment. Modern AI approaches require large labeled training datasets to learn from. While traditional approaches typically rely on armies of human annotators to label by hand, Snorkel Flow empowers users to programmatically label and build training data sets to drive a radically faster, more flexible, and higher quality end-to-end AI development process. Snorkel Flow is an end-to-end development platform, complete with a GUI and powerful programmatic interfaces for driving the development process for full AI application workflows: from preprocessing, to programmatic training data creation, to ML model training, to analysis, and deployment. It's the data-first platform for enterprise AI.

We are looking for a Sr. Product Designer to build the next generation interfaces that will empower developers and non-developers alike to rapidly build, manage, and analyze ML pipelines in Snorkel Flow. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the product vision, how customers interact with the product and define a new way of how people interact with and develop AI!

Main Responsibilities

Define user experience and design key interfaces of Snorkel Flow
Communicate your ideas and work using mock ups, documentation, and prototypes
Capture UX feedback, both directly from customers and indirectly through the sales and support teams.
Iterate to build intuitive interfaces for complex ML development
Collaborate with engineers and designers to build and implement scalable and reusable components and frameworks
Nurture a customer centric culture in the product team
Keep a tight loop through implementation and close coordination with product and engineering

Qualifications

Experience working as a product designer who has contributed and maintained a design system for a production web application
Experience working with web design prototyping tools, e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
Comfortable learning technical concepts and translating ideas into user-flow chart, wireframe, and prototype within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively by providing and receiving feedback / strong communication skills
Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features, all with user-centered design process
Strong portfolio with a variety of design challenges you have solved to demonstrate thoughtful approach and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Startup experience
Keen interest and familiarity with AI, machine learning or data science.
Experience designing developer products, either as internal tools or as SaaS products
