About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at Showpad, you’ll work closely with other designers, product managers, engineers, support and sales teams to define and deliver experiences across the Showpad suite of products that directly impact thousands of businesses around the world. you are multifaceted and can identify as a service, interaction, motion, and visual designer. You enjoy complex design challenges, concepting and validating ideas with customer research, building prototypes, and iterating to optimise your design solution.

Primary responsibilities

• Deliver UX solutions that measurably improve the core workflows of our target users.
• Design mental models, end-to-end journeys, and user interfaces for Showpad software products.
• Develop storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design intent.
• Produce artefacts and organise workshops and research for both formative and evaluative studies.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to guide the team towards building the best possible experience for our users
• Promote improved ways of working in the design function at Showpad

Collaborative: You demonstrate an ability to build productive working relationships at all levels across the organisation, and have the ability to inspire and facilitate collaboration with others.

Requirements

• At least 5+ of experience in a related position, experience designing for mobile and web applications
• Ability to mentor and guide the team
• Ability to articulate design decisions and principles
• Exceptional portfolio featuring examples of shipped product design work
• Demonstratable research and synthesis experience
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, InVision, and other prototyping tools
• Experience with design systems and collaborating with other designers on the design system
• Effective time and project management skills
• Experience in SAAS or analytics is a plus
• Energy, proactivity, passion, and a healthy sense of humour
• Flexible and able to have sufficient hours of overlap in order to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
