We're so excited to bring Sequence to the world.

We're fully remote within +/- 5 hours of GMT, or you can work from our Hub in central London—whatever you prefer.

The role

We're looking for our first Product Designer at Sequence. A talented designer passionate about creating elegant solutions to complex problems to help design the future of Sequence. You'll own design at Sequence, working throughout the product development lifecycle, from new ideas all the way to detailed interactions and polished visuals.

By joining Sequence, you’ll help to move billions of dollars for our customers. We're all about moving and managing money in a magically simple, lightning fast way—at massive scale.

What you'll do

  • Partner with founders, engineers and product managers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for our product.

  • Take full-cycle ownership of your work from ideation, design, review and feedback in the final test build and after release.

  • Work on very broadly defined, loose concepts, and sometimes on narrowly defined, tactical deliverables.

  • Iterate based on feedback from the whole team and customers.

  • Stay customer-focused. Your primary goal is to consistently deliver value to the customer and stay true to the company mission.

  • Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly both internally and with the broader design community.

Who you'll be

  • You have experience designing for business and developer-focused products in tech companies.

  • You have experience working within the entire product development process, from research and problem solving through user testing to detailed UI and visual design.

  • You have experience building, contributing to design systems.

  • You have experience solving complex problems down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use.

  • You're skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work.

  • You have experience working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and grow.

  • You always think MVP first, collaborate effectively with engineers and have the ability to work in an agile and fast-paced team.
