We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with an affinity for product management and user research to join our Roots (https://www.tryroots.io/) design team. Roots is one of the fastest growing products in the Deel family and provides an exciting opportunity for someone to make an outsized impact and help lay the groundwork for Deel's venture beyond global payroll into HR, people operations, and day-to-day life in a remote world. In this role, you'll get to:

• Design flows, prototypes, sketches, and thoughtful visuals for new features.

• Independently define the goals of research projects and confidently run research and testing projects

• Conduct user testing throughout the design cycle and solicit feedback from the rest of the team.

• Iterate on and drive the product development and design process — from problem definition to design implementation.

• Help to break a larger vision into discrete projects that guide your execution approach.

• Work with Engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience

• Track the success of the product features that we launch and know how to iterate based on metrics and customer feedback

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Designer with a track record of designing and shipping successful products in a software development setting

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Can convey a compelling story around the work you do and how it relates to the broader company vision

• Self-directed, with an ability to identify areas for high potential impact and prioritize based on current business initiatives.

• Comfortable partnering with other functions across the organization to develop the strategy and rationale for features, eager to voice opinions.

• Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on cohesion and consistency across multiple product lines.

• Tenaciously curious. Able to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert in new areas.

• Experience in SaaS is a plus.
