Role

As a Senior Product Designer at Pipe, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital products and services. Your primary focus will be on setting a clear product vision, leading collaborative workshops, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship, and conducting extensive user research and validation within the financial service industry. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong grasp of the financial services landscape, and the ability to deliver exceptional user experiences that meet both business and user needs.

You'll collaborate with the Chief Innovation Officer, Designers, Product Partners and engineers to build the right concepts and solutions to solve for our customers needs.

You should feel comfortable thinking across several different product categories and deeply understand financial services. You’ll need a strong ability to multi task, understand opportunities and design fast and methodically test hypotheses and product solutions.

You must be organised and have experience working in a high paced environment. As a remote-first company, we place a very high value on communication, collaboration, program management and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a compelling and clear product vision that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and market demands
• Lead and facilitate collaborative workshops involving cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and refine product concepts and solutions.
• Demonstrate exceptional design skills, paying meticulous attention to detail and ensuring a seamless user experience across all digital platforms.
• Conduct thorough user research to understand customer behaviors, needs, and pain points, and use insights to validate and iterate on design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
• Create and test prototypes to gather user feedback, iterate on designs, and ensure that final products meet both user expectations and business goals.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the design team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on business metrics
• Proven track record of setting product vision, leading collaborative workshops, and delivering exceptional user experiences in complex digital environments.
• Proficiency in design Figma
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understand the competitive landscape—know the competition and how they are positioned
