The Role
Pilot is looking for aSenior Product Designertojoin our Banking Automation team to help build the future of the financial back office.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Translatebroad conceptual ideas and turn them intofunctional anddelightful solutions
- Lead the end-to-end product design process and ensure a seamless interaction at every touchpoint withinyour productand servicearea
- Develop end-to-end user journey flows, low tohigh-fidelitywireframes, and prototypes
- Deliver thoughtful solutions and detailed specs that are ready for implementation
- Design within an established design system and contribute to the growth and evolution of new design standards across Pilot
- Work closely with your Product and Engineering peers in a highly collaborative way to bring your ideas to life and ship new experiences
- Partner strategically with Product, Engineering, and Operations to drive product decisions and roadmap priorities
- Collaboratewithinternalusers to conduct interviews and gather datato inform design decisionsas needed
- Mentor otherdesigners on strategy and craft, and maintain our team's high standard of design
About you
Our ideal candidate will have6+ years of product design experience, and can additionally demonstrate the following:
- You are curious, highly analytical, and team-oriented
- You seek and integrate feedback often from teammates and stakeholders
- You’ve owned and shipped UI/UX projects from strategy to execution
- You understand the business impact of design decisions and drive meaningful product value
- You’re an excellent systems-thinker and great at reducingcomplexsystemsdown to the right balance of simplicity and easy-of-use while meeting user needs
- You have a strong attention-to-detail towards clear information architecture, visual hierarchy, typography, and layout
- A background in Enterprise, SaaS, Internal Tools, and/or Service Design is highly preferred. Prior experience in finance and accounting is not required, but definitely a plus!
The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $156k - $247k in San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
