Senior Product Designer

About the Role:

As Senior Product Designer, you will craft experiences that empower people to take control of their financial journey. You'll ensure our customer is represented in every aspect of the services we deliver, and will be a leader in user-centered design practices. 

This is a remote role located in the Los Angeles, CA area.

What you will do: 

• Lead design projects in cross-functional agile teams
• Create user flows, anticipating edge cases and errors
• Deliver designs that simplify complexity, with a strong eye for detail
• Lead the efforts to continue to build and strengthen our design system
• Evangelize best-practices in UX by presenting user needs and research
• Iterate on designs and testing (e.g. a/b and fake door), incorporating data into your design process and evolving our understanding of customer needs and behavior
• Work in Figma, and other software as needed for prototyping and presentations

What you can bring: 

• Experience. 5+ years of mobile and desktop Product Design experience on large-scale consumer products.
• Excellent Communication. Ability to present and explain user flows and designs to stakeholders, engineers, and product
• Adaptability. The ability to learn quickly, test new things, and thrive in ambiguity; incorporating feedback and data into your work along the way
• Passion. For our mission of alleviating financial stress

Bonus points: 

• Startup Experience. Experience in a fast-moving FinTech startup is a plus
• Subscription Experience. Familiarity with subscription models, including free trials, freemium offerings, and family plans, would be beneficial

In order to provide greater transparency, we have included base pay ranges for all of our US-based job postings. Our pay ranges are based on the role's level and responsibilities, and benchmarked against similar stage growth companies in the fintech industry. We utilize multiple factors including skills and work experience to determine the final offer amount given to each candidate.The base pay range for this position is: $165,000 - $185,000/year.
