Senior Product Designer

Since raising a $45 million Series A investment, the Output team is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us shape the future of music creation.

You are a creative individual with strong product design skills, great aesthetic sensibilities and are known for your effortless collaboration working with partners across an organization. You will work closely with product management, product designers, and engineers throughout every stage in the creative process, from conceptualization to final delivery. Your work will inspire and delight.

This is an opportunity to help elevate and evolve our flagship product, Arcade.

How you'll add value:

• As a designer leading the product design of Arcade, you will:
  • Champion new, innovative and beautiful designs that inspire and empower people to create music with Arcade.
  • Expand the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches, wireframes, and visual design.
  • Facilitate and participate in user research and testing. You’ll use the synthesis of this work to continually evolve Arcade to be above and beyond best in class.
  • Live, breathe and create with Arcade to become a subject matter expert on the product.
• As a designer at Output, you will:
  • Have relentless attention to detail that leads to shipping pixel perfect UI.
  • Partner with other designers and product managers in the organization to help evolve our product offerings.
  • Have an appreciation of the entire user journey—across our whole ecosystem.
  • Help inspire and elevate the design team.
  • Bring out of the box ideas to the table.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

• 6+ years of proven experience in fast-paced product environments.
• A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality design work.
• Bring forward strong opinions, while being open to constructive input.
• Expertise in best in class design patterns.
• Ability to closely collaborate with your partners to ensure high quality solutions.
• Take ownership; you’re a self-starter and enjoy driving projects from beginning to end.
• Working knowledge of the correct tools to realize your vision. The team currently uses After Effects, Protopie, Figma, Photoshop, Jira and other key tools.
• Experience in music production is a huge plus.
• Enduring curiosity.

Additional information:

• In accordance with California law, the salary range for this role if filled within Los Angeles is $130,000 - $180,00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law
