(Senior) Product Designer | Berlin or fully remote in Europe

n8n is a low-code workflow automation tool that allows you to connect different services together with custom logic (think syncing your CRM with an internal database or allowing companies to easily build Slack bots for their products). We launched 2.5 years ago to a ton of interest, and things have accelerated since then! We were Sequoia's first seed investment in Europe, and raised another $12m in 2021. We're using that money to grow awareness and usage even faster and accelerate monetization.

Until now, n8n has been mainly designed by engineers, so this is a great opportunity to really own and define the UX for a fast-growing and well-loved product. We’re serious about product discovery and making sure we’re building the right features before we ask engineers to start work, and we really care about good UX and visual design. Your voice will be heard and valued here!

What you'll be doing

• Work on all facets of Product Design, from research to validation and implementation. We are still a lean team which means that you would be working on a variety of challenges
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering, making sure that Design is part of the whole process rather than an afterthought
• We are a start-up which means that there are a lot of processes that need to be improved and we want everyone in the team to contribute!
• Validate your solutions with qualitative and quantitative data when possible
• Building a design function from its very early days

Requirements

• Must-haves:
  • You have worked on complex problems with fuzzy user journeys where the right solution is anything but obvious
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment where there are still a lot of big questions to answer
  • You have experience with interaction design and working from problem statement to solution implementation
  • You know how to use data to showcase the success (or failure) of a solution
  Extras
  • Experience working on B2B or SaaS products
  • Previous experience working on Developer tools
  • Passion for automation and the no-code/low-code space
  • Strong technical understanding (maybe you have even previously been an engineer)
