The IT Solutions group is passionate about building scalable, flexible & collaborative tools for the future of IT. This is one of the fastest-growing Atlassian product groups looking for experienced product designers who have helped build complex products in the past.

Product Designers at Atlassian work on the end-to-end experience, from identifying customer, needs to detailed UI refinement. We’re looking to hire a Senior Product Designer who takes ownership of the experience, thinks broadly, generates compelling solution ideas, and sweats the details. Your work will directly impact tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!

To be successful here, we encourage you to have:

6+ years of professional design experience with software tools, complex web applications or e-commerce
Customer-centric mindset to understand, frame and solve problems
A great portfolio showcasing your ability to get to the root of a problem and create elegant solutions
Previous experience actively creating clarity around problem spaces which are in flux
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to work across multiple teams, facilitate design discussions, solicit and synthesise feedback and communicate design decisions
Very keen sense of design- a critical eye for detail and a high standard of craft
Supported and helped others grow and develop their own craft

In this role you will:

Tackle interesting, complex problems. Working closely with your engineering and product partners, you'll have a large amount of ownership and autonomy across the entire design process. Rather than just design individual features, you'll have the opportunity to define the end-to-end experience of an exciting and critical area of our business.
Collaborate cross-functionally with some of the smartest (and nicest) people in the industry. Day-to-day you'll work closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Content Designers, Marketing Experts, and Analysts to champion the user experience in our products and ship high quality work.

Make a substantial impact at scale. We have more than 10M users all around the world, and teams both large and small depend on our software to do their work.
