Senior Product Designer on the 3D Editor

The Product Designer Role

Your job as a designer will be to capitalize on this momentum, and work every day to eliminate the unnecessary complexity of CAD workflows to boost the speed and efficiency for design and manufacturing teams.

You will be working with data, direct customer insights (sales calls, field trips, onsite demos, interviews), using the product yourself, learning competitor apps, applying relevant patterns, combining input from developers and relying on your insights to get to just the right solutions with your cross-functional team. 

You will be working towards a specific mission: maximize the impact of design and manufacturing teams through radically efficient tools. You will be setting the roadmap of your team with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager, and pitching, prototyping and validating it.

Your background

• A minimum of 4 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of successful application(s)
• Ability to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and oversee the building process
• A deep understanding of customer problems to create elegant, but practical solutions
• Use data and user research to make design decisions
• Strong visual design, UX, and problem-solving skills
• A good understanding of layout/structure, typography, animation and best practices on various screen sizes
• Being familiar with native desktop and mobile interface guidelines
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Deep experience in 3D modelling, be it VFX, game or CAD is a huge plus
