About the New Businesses team
Within Divvy, you will lead Design on the New Businesses team, with the goal of launching and/or scaling three new businesses: Divvy Realty, Divvy Mortgage and Divvy Title. We will go from being a company with a rent-to-own product to a platform that customers use throughout their journey to homeownership.
The New Businesses team will be successful if we design product and service offerings that allow us to provide a differentiated home-buying consumer experience with in-house Agents, mortgage and title & escrow services. A key part of this role will be having the creativity and hustle to define, launch and scale new businesses, while also looking across teams to connect dots, signals, and align roadmaps so that the new products are effectively integrated with our core Divvy customer experience.
Responsabilities
- Establish the design vision and strategy for your business area.
- Collaborate with your product partner to develop roadmaps and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (Finance, Sales/Marketing, Operations, Customer Support, etc.) and the Leadership/Executive team.
- Own user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services.
- Measure and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- IC role that can grow into a manager role as the company grows.
- Inspire the rest of the design team, share your knowledge, and bring new ideas to the table! ?
What we are looking for:
- 6+ years of product design experience working in-house and demonstrated track record of design leadership with an ability to lead and influence teams. Management experience is a plus.
- Outcome-oriented. Not reactionary, articulates the desired outcome and works collaboratively to create a path to achieve it.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A portfolio showing your thoughtful UI and UX work.
- Comfortable with most common design / prototyping tools (i.e Figma, Principle, etc) and an ability to iterate quickly as ideas evolve,
- Experience conducting user research and user testing sessions.
- A strong emoji game is not required but strongly encouraged ?
