About the team

At Trade Republic, our goal is to build an investing platform designed for everyday people, who don’t necessarily have any existing stock market experience. That’s why we work hand in hand with our product managers, engineers, data scientists and others to continuously learn and truly understand people's needs to enable them to build financial freedom for themselves.

In our team, you’ll eventually have the chance to either move into a management role or grow as an individual contributor without making career compromises, and help shape a young design team into a larger design organisation.

What you’ll be doing

• Own design problems from initial concept through shipping and beyond
• Team up with engineering, product management and data in order to create products that are incredibly easy to use and look beautiful
• Be in frequent contact with our users and use data insights to really understand their needs and pain points and how we can help them invest their money
• Explore and prototype completely new ideas and work together with great colleagues from all departments to make them come to life
• Always try to connect user needs with business opportunities to build a successful product that millions of users across Europe love
• Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with other designers and company leadership
• Help us build a diverse design team that represents the people we’re building products for

What we’re looking for

• You can think yourself into the most complex topics to break them down into understable solutions
• You have experience talking to users and working with product managers and engineers to design products that solve actual problems
• You can leverage your prototyping skills to articulate solutions for a whole team
• You have an eye for visual design and know how to communicate information effectively and beautifully
• You are great at communicating and collaborating inside teams to work towards a shared goal
• You are passionate about building incredible products that envision how things could be, instead of being stuck with how things have been
