Senior Product Designer, Merchant (Merchant App)

The Merchant Group at Wolt is looking for a Product Designer!

Wolt as a platform serves three main groups: the Customers, the Couriers and the Merchants. Merchant Group focuses on making Wolt an integral part of our Merchants’ daily lives in all the 23 countries Wolt is active in. We provide our business partners with tools and automations that are useful, efficient, reliable, and delightful to use. Our products are built around self-service, which helps us keep trust at the core of our partner relationships.

We are currently looking for a Product Designer to support our Merchant App team in the Merchant Group. The team is working on an order handling mobile app used by tens of thousands of users in our restaurant and retail partners’ venues. Your focus would be in ensuring a high-quality user experience while making sure that our Merchants can manage their incoming orders smoothly.

At Wolt, we are obsessed with details and brilliant user experience, and so should you! As a Product Designer, you'll get to work with some of the best in the industry while focusing on designing great experiences for our users. You're expected to produce production quality UI designs, while you spend a part of your time participating on the UX work, including concept design and validation. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary product management, design, data, and engineering team to deliver thoughtful and polished design work that is world class.

• Strong portfolio of UI Design for digital mobile products

• You have an eye for detail and vision for world-class interfaces

• Experience of working on iOS applications, prior experience of using cross-platform technologies such as Flutter and React Native is considered a plus 

• Experience of using data in your design and running experiments to validate hypotheses

• Experience of leading design & development projects

• Interest towards doing your own user research and capability to derive design decisions from qualitative and quantitative data

• You have experience working with design systems, with ability to work creatively, building your own components outside of the design system when the experience calls for it

• You have excellent collaboration skills – you have experience of working together creatively with other designers, and cross-disciplinarily with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and copywriters

• You are fantastic at communicating your thinking and design decisions – you’re able to get the multiple stakeholders whose attention your work will receive along on the journey with you.

• Prior experience of working with Figma is a nice to have – you're comfortable using Figma for communicating feature specifications to designers, developers and other stakeholders
