About The Role

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design of the surfer app and the internal tooling platform to create a best-in-class experience for the surfers Kyte is working with. Additionally, you will enable easy, efficient workflows for people using Kyte tools to give people better access to cars. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including a Product Manager, Tech Lead, and Product Analyst on product discovery, where the goal is to iterate with prototype testing to gain confidence in the right solution before actually implementing it. You will keep in close touch with your users through regular stakeholder interviews and prototype testing.

What You’ll Do

Work in interdisciplinary discovery sprints on creating an outstanding surfer app and internal tooling products
Own your products’ UX and UI for the two products
Enhance Kyte’s design system along the way
Strengthen your knowledge about your stakeholders’ problems by regularly interviewing them and iterating prototype tests
Continuously improve the existing products from a design perspective
Driving co-creation sessions with other team members and stakeholders
Lead discovery efforts around complex topics in order to break them down into manageable pieces
Constantly build a transparent and customer-focused culture

Required

Minimum 5+ years of design experience
Minimum 3+ year of product design experience
Fluent with designing and prototyping
Experience working with a design system
High energy and hustle to fully own your design area
You understand people’s cognitive biases, how they interact with digital products, and industry-established interaction patterns
You have a strong understanding of information architecture
You care not only about the bigger picture but also the details – you actively shape processes that lead to a higher level of design output
